As our final exam in Publications Writing and Editing subject, our group is set to issue a fashion magazine called Sartorial. We had a photo shoot last Monday (which was a holiday!) at some place I’d like to call Paraiso de Deala a.k.a. Loise‘s home.
I left home at about quarter to six in the morning and we only started taking photos at 10:30 am. We first had a briefing of what clothes we brought, and then mixed and matched them. Also, we fixed the props for the cover. And lastly, the makeup. For the first time, I did a full-face makeup (meaning, my first to apply my eyeshadow skillz from watching Youtube tutorials). It turned out pretty fine, I must say. 🙂
So yeah, the whole shoot was so sun-drenched that we ended at 3 pm. CAN YOU JUST IMAGINE THE HEAT BETWEEN THAT BEYOND UNGODLY HOUR? Dios mio. I guess all the over exposure to uv rays and risk to skin disease was worth it. Here are some of the outtakes!
Kaila a.k.a. KeiQ. 🙂
I think the about half of the whole set are my wacky poses. I can’t be a legit print model for that matter; that would be such a great waste of space for the memory card.
This is my ANTM (America’s Next Top Model Pose). Just kidding! Hahaha okay please spare me your derogatory judgment.
Loise: oh, change pose. Iba naman.
Kaila: *refer to the photo below*
I swear, that was the most tiring shoots I’ve had. Styling, makeup, hair, posing, and most of all, standing on sky high heels under the scorching hot sun.
